Logo
The logo I created to convey the topic "robot uprising". I chose a gear and a disproportioned circle as my outline. Giving the logo a futuristic and industrial look that pairs well with the idea of a robot uprising. I designed this logo fully in Illustrator.
Comic
Here is my "robot uprising" comic. I chose a more playful style compared to my initial logo. It was tricky designing a robot that could be manipulated easily. I landed on a robot with a simpler design, so I could change its arm positions and angles. I completed this whole project in Illustrator and love how it turned out!
Zine
For my zine, I tried to take a different approach to the theme "Robot Uprising". I focused on how this fictional society may view robots. This assignment tasked us with cohesively merging found imagery, text and digital illustrations. I was pleased with how I incorporated found imagery and worked it into my own style!
(My GE told me that my zine reminded him of Barbara Kruger's work - possibly the greatest compliment I've ever received!)
